Our company has many constructions in lot of exotic countries which Pakistan definitely belongs to.
After a very successful project of JOINT OFFICE Donor in Juba (south Sudan) we completed the construction of Embassy Building in the capital of Pakistan Islamabad for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in August 2009.
Almost all of the modules (except for technical and sanitary facilities) were designed as a trans-pack modules which simplified logistics and transportation: from production site Fagus to Antwerpen Port by trucks, then by boat to Pakistan port in Karachi and finally to construction site in Islamabad by road again.
All assembly work were managed by eight Fagus qualified monteurs and six local workers.
The overall project was a big challenge for Fagus, first due to location of the project itself, second due to very sophisticated design solutions of earthquakes and terrorist attacks protection.
